Study of new technologies and materials to be implemented in the overhead system work-piece construction

As the Russian industry develops, innovative technologies and materials are actively mastered in diverse technical branches. UCN tracks the innovative technologies and materials and studies the possibility to implement them in the overhead system work-pieces construction. Implementation of new materials and technologies makes it possible to significantly improve the service performance, and sometimes even reduce their cost.

UCN, for instance, was the first in Russia to use the siliceous nickel bronze, ÊÑ22.jpgthe electric conductivity of which is two times greater than that of the aluminium bronze for the current-conducting reinforcement metal. For bronze reinforcement metal manufacture, UCN used the drop stamping technology, thus increasing the reinforcement metal quality and durability.

Nowadays, the malten cast iron reinforcement metal is manufactured using the high-durable kish orbicular structure in cast iron using the precision molding technology (earlier the sand casting technology was used), thus producing a high quality and surface finish material.

UCN has designed, tested and implemented the balance levers and steady braces of aluminium alloy (aluminium reinforcement metal, manufactured using precision molding).
